Better joined-up care. For everyone who works here. For everyone who comes here.

The Electronic Patient Record (EPR) is coming to the three acute hospitals in Norfolk and Waveney: Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals, James Paget University Hospitals and Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

The EPR will support care as it happens and bring a patient’s health information together in one place. This helps the people delivering their care, putting up-to-date information at their fingertips, prompting decisions and supporting their work. Today, patient information sits across paper notes and many separate systems that do not connect to each other. The EPR replaces many of those systems. Some specialist systems will stay, and where that happens we will make sure information flows smoothly. This is a change for the people who work in our hospitals, and for the people they care for. This site explains what it means for you.
